RIKON designed, manufactured and supplied two 40-tonne rail-mounted gantry cranes for the Valencia-Font de Sant Llu\u00eds intermodal terminal in Spain.<\/p>\n\n

Each crane has been equipped, commissioned and integrated with RIKON\u2019s proprietary RROS (Remote Operation System), connecting the machines to dedicated remote workstations and enabling office-based operation<\/p>\n\n

The Valencia-Font de Sant Llu\u00eds intermodal terminal, operated by ADIF, required more advanced approaches to heavy equipment operation, with growing demand for automation and improved safety within Spain\u2019s state-managed logistics network.<\/p>\n\n

The Solution<\/h2>\n\n

RIKON deployed and commissioned its proprietary RROS (RIKON Remote Operation System) on two 40-tonne RMG container cranes, connecting each crane to a dedicated remote workstation. Operators now manage multi-tonne machinery with maximum accuracy from ergonomic control consoles located in a comfortable office environment, instead of directly on the cranes.<\/p>\n\n
