RIKON designed, manufactured and supplied a high-capacity RPS-1600 Double Jib Level Luffing portal crane for the Port of Aktau, a key maritime hub on Kazakhstan’s western Caspian coast.
With a 63-tonne lifting capacity and a 32-metre outreach, the crane handles general cargo, including containers, as well as dry bulk, raising the efficiency of the port’s operations.
The delivery expanded RIKON’s presence in Central Asia and reinforced Aktau as a transit hub on the Trans-Caspian International Route (the Middle Corridor) connecting Central Asia and China with European markets.
